Our Story

Glaya was born between Morocco and the UK.

It started from a simple idea: to bring a piece of Moroccan life into everyday moments here – in a way that feels real, personal, and close.

We don't see Glaya as just products.
We see it as culture that travels – through the hands that make it, the traditions behind it, and the story it carries.

Something that feels familiar, even if it's coming from far away.

Something that connects you back to where it all begins.

Moroccan argan oil and traditional clothing
🇲🇦 From Morocco

Two sides of Morocco, one Glaya

The first grows from the land.

The argan tree – called the "tree of life" by Berber women. For centuries, they have cracked the nuts by hand, pressed the oil, and used it to heal skin and hair. Our argan oil is 100% organic, cold-pressed, and free from any chemical. What you get is what Morocco grows.

The second is stitched by hand.

The djellaba, the gandoura. These are not fashion. They are how Moroccans move through life – modest, graceful, and unhurried. Each piece is cut, sewn, and embroidered by families in small workshops. No factories. No middlemen.

We bring you the best of Morocco – pure argan oil pressed by hand, skincare made from nature, and clothing stitched with patience and pride. Not mass-produced. Not rushed. Just honest, beautiful things from Moroccan families to your home in the UK.

Glaya Morocco

How we work

For beauty:
We source our argan oil directly from women's cooperatives in southwestern Morocco. The nuts are cracked by hand. The oil is cold-pressed in small batches. No heat. No chemicals. No perfume. Just pure liquid gold.

For clothing:
We partner with family workshops across Morocco. Every djellaba, and gandoura is hand-stitched by people we know by name.

For both:
We bring everything to our UK warehouse. That means:

  • No surprise customs fees for you
  • Fast delivery (3–5 days in the UK)
  • Easy returns

Glaya Morocco

For whom?

For the Moroccan family in the UK and beyond – who wants their son to wear a djellaba for Eid, just like they did back home. And for the mother who wants pure argan oil in her daughter's hair, because that's what grandmother used.

For the one who discovered Moroccan style on holiday – and wants to wear it again. Not as a costume. As their own. A kaftan for a wedding. A gandoura for a slow morning. A bottle of golden oil that smells like sunshine and feels like home.

For anyone who believes that what you put on your skin or your body – should feel like a quiet hello, not a loud shout.

Glaya Morocco

What we believe

Whether you are putting argan oil on your skin or a djellaba on your back, the feeling should be the same — natural, honest, and deeply comforting.

At Glaya, we believe that beauty should come from nature, not from ingredients you cannot pronounce. And clothing should never feel like a costume, but like something that belongs to you.

Glaya is for:

  • The woman who wants glowing skin without chemicals
  • The man who wants a djellaba that fits like home
  • The mother who wants pure argan oil for her child's hair
  • The family who wants to wear Morocco, not just visit it
